TINKU is a traveling band based in California, USA. TINKU's shows feature 100% live music. It is comprised of Father & Sons. Each musician is a recording artists and multi-instrumentalist. The younger artists are 16 & 13 years of age and are also current members of the San Diego Youth Symphony. Collectively, TINKU's musicians count with approximately 30 years of experience in this specialty field.

TINKU was founded in 1995 by Francisco Astudillo after he combined three essential elements.

TINKU utilizes various instruments including several native to different parts of Latin America. These instruments are classified into three categories: Percussions, Winds and Strings.
