Isaac's Biography
Isaac’s formal music education began at the age of 8 under the direction of Mrs. Ricki Pederson. His primary instrument is the Cello which he studied for a total of 2 years while attending Kellogg Visual & Performing Arts School.
Besides his love of the Cello, Isaac is now able to perform percussion instruments in which he has also demonstrated great interest. Isaac is provided with percussion and guitar instruction by Francisco Astudillo.
As a 5th grader, Isaac appeared in his first public performance as a percussionist with the musical group TINKU. To date, he has participated in numerous performances with TINKU and is quickly perfecting the rhythms traditional to Latin, Folk and World music. Isaac performs up to 10 percussion instruments during most shows. Like Francisco Astudillo (TINKU's Founder & Director), Isaac also alternates with a minimum of 4-7 instruments during a single song theme...A must see and hear!
